His Legacy
The Gianna and George Floyd Foundation Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming tragedy into purpose by uplifting communities, empowering the next generation, and advocating for systemic change. Founded in honor of George Floyd and inspired by the strength and promise of his daughter Gianna, our mission is to be a force for hope, healing, and justice.
We are committed to addressing the deep-rooted social and racial injustices that continue to impact Black and underserved communities across America. Through comprehensive programming focused on education, economic development, mental health support, and civic engagement, we aim to create opportunities that break generational cycles of poverty and inequity.
The Foundation provides scholarships, mentorship, and leadership development for youth, while also supporting families affected by police violence and systemic oppression. We work in partnership with local organizations, educators, and activists to promote unity, community safety, and accountability in policing and public institutions.

We believe that every child deserves a future filled with dignity, justice, and opportunity—and we will continue the work until that vision becomes a reality for all.
Gianna Floyd, the beloved daughter of George Floyd, is a living symbol of strength, hope, and change. At just 11 years old, Gianna carries forward her father’s legacy with a heart full of courage and purpose. She stands not only as a reminder of the injustice her father faced, but as a voice for a brighter future—one where every child, regardless of background, can thrive in a world free from police brutality and racial injustice.
Gianna is using her platform to unite with others who have experienced the profound loss of a parent, especially children affected by violence and injustice. Through her strength and resilience, she inspires young people to keep going, to believe in themselves, and to know that even in the face of loss, they are not alone.
Gianna knows that her dad changed the world—and now, she is determined to do the same.
